PARK Sheila is a Political Affairs Officer in the Asia and the Pacific Division of the United Nations Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs (DPPA), where she covers the Korean Peninsula and China. Prior to joining the United Nations, she served at the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Korea to the U.N., focusing on Middle East and North Africa issues. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in political science from New York University and a Master’s degree in peace and conflict studies from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya.
