Biography

KIM Ijun is a UNICEF Youth Foresight Research Consultant, leveraging participatory foresight methodologies to advance meaningful child and youth participation in research and decision-making. She is also a Youth Foresight Consultant at Theirworld, training young people in foresight methodologies to strengthen their research on and advocacy for early childhood education. Additionally, she served as a member of the Youth Advisory Group and a Programme Management Officer with a focus on applying foresight to peacebuilding initiatives at the United Nations Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs, advancing the Youth, Peace and Security agenda particularly in the Asia and Pacific region. She holds a Master's degree from the University of Washington School of Law, through which she explored the intersection of international law and sustainable development.
