Biography

Professor KIM Dong Woo received his Ph.D. in Philosophy from The Graduate Center, CUNY (City University of New York), and has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the School of Digital Humanities and Computational Social Sciences at KAIST since 2023. From 2026, he has additionally served as Director of the KAIST AI Philosophy Research Center. Specializing in logic, metaphysics, and the philosophy of language, he has published numerous articles in leading international journals, including The Philosophical Quarterly, Synthese, Erkenntnis, and the Journal of Philosophical Logic. He received the National Research Foundation of Korea's Early-Career Researcher Fellowship in 2023, the KAIST Research Excellence Award in 2025, and the Korean Society for Analytic Philosophy's Moha Analytic Philosophy Award in 2026.
