Biography

KANG Sung Jin is a Professor of Economics at Korea University and currently serves as President of the Korean Economic Association. He holds a B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. in Economics from Korea University, and a Ph.D. in Economics from Stanford University. His primary research areas are economic growth and economic development. He previously served as President of the Korean Association of International Economic Studies and President of the Korea Economic Research Association. He currently serves as Chair of the Policy Committee of the Korea Foundation for Advanced Studies and Chair of the Korea-Japan Future Partnership Private Advisory Committee of the Korea Enterprises Federation (formerly the Federation of Korean Industries).
