Joey Rositano was born in Nashville, Tennessee in the United States. Five days after finishing his university studies, he set out for Europe where he spent four years. He is a long-term resident of Jeju Island, South Korea where he has spent the last five years researching and producing a documentary on the island’s shamanic shrine culture. He has produced a photography book on the same topic.
