PARK Sihyeon entered the Department of Sociology at Chung-Ang University in 2022 and has been continuing her academic journey since. She actively explores social issues and strives to connect theory with practice by raising her voice for change. As a student journalist for the university newspaper, she has reported on key issues within the student community, gaining “living knowledge” by directly interviewing students, professors, and experts. Aspiring to become a journalist who reflects the diverse aspects of society, she has also been involved in the Volunteer Planning Group, participating in campaigns and volunteer work for marginalized communities. Her creative ideas and thoughtful perspective toward the vulnerable have earned her positive feedback for her volunteer planning. Additionally, she has a strong ability to articulate opinions verbally. As a representative speaker at the “Seoul Youth Day” event, she conveyed the struggles and needs of today’s youth, resonating with many.
