Biography
LIM Suk-Jun received his Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Chicago with a dissertation on "The Political Economy of Industrialization." He currently teaches international relations at the Graduate School of International Studies and the Department of Political Science at Dong-A University. He has long conducted research on corporate social responsibility (CSR), particularly focusing on improving labor standards in South Korean companies operating in Vietnam and Indonesia. More recently, as part of the Social Science Korea (SSK) project, he has launched a three-year research initiative on the ‘Changing International Order and Global Supply Chains,’ with a focus on the semiconductor industry. His representative work includes the widely cited article “Embedding CSR values: The global footwear industry’s evolving governance structure” (Journal of Business Ethics, 2008), which has been cited over 300 times.
