Linda HJELLE is an Associate Political Affairs Officer in the United Nations Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs (UNDPPA) Asia and the Pacific Division. Her portfolio includes the Korean Peninsula, and she is the programme manager for the Futuring Peace in Northeast Asia initiative related to the Youth, Peace and Security (YPS) agenda. She previously worked at the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Beijing. She holds a dual master’s degree in Chinese Society and Politics from the University of Oslo and Zhejiang University, as well as BAs in Chinese Studies and International Relations from the University of Oslo.
