Dr. IM AeDuck graduated from Ewha Womans University, majoring in English literature, obtained master’s degree in Ewha and obtained Ph.D. in Social Welfare from Ewha Womans University. She has taught Social Work Practice and policy at Jeju National University, she has published academic papers on single-parent family policy and policies for the placement of children born out of wedlock, social perception of single mothers, development of a healing model for the Jeju 4.3 trauma, development of a senior citizen center model, and development of a social safety net for children at risk. In clinical practice, she established Community Foundation Chongsu in 2003, and established Aesuhwon center for single mother and baby, and She has established a life cycle-based practice model for policy interventions for single-parent families.
