Ivy ADLAON is graduate student of Central Mindanao University, Philippines, who is passionate in being a steward of nature and a voice for the environment. She is a dedicated conservationist and advocate for sustainable living working in the fields of ethnobotany, forest conservation, and ecosystem valuation in the Philippines. She is a part of the Rights of Nature movement in the Philippines, campaigning for national and local laws that will provide legal rights to nature for an ecologically sustainable economics and eco-centric governance and to institutionalize the practice of a sustainable lifestyle. Being able to connect to the communities she worked with, Ivy ADLAON aims to preserve traditional knowledge while promoting modern conservation practices. With the hope to inspire the next generation, Ivy continues to work with different experts in the fields of biodiversity and conservation through research, fieldwork, and commitment to sustainability.
