Professor KWON Ohseok graduated at the University of California, Irvine (USA) in 1989 and then finished his Ph.D. at Lancaster University (UK) in 1996. He joined Korean Long-Term Ecological Research (KLTER) network in 2000, and now serving as the Regional Chair of the International Long-Term Ecological Research, East Asia-Pacific (ILTER-EAP) since 2014. He actively participated in Environmental and Ecological activities in Korea as well as in East Asia-Pacific for last 30 years. He is a professor at the department of plant medicine, Kyungpook National University, Republic of Korea. He works as the Editor-in-Chief of Entomological Research (SCIE) and the program leader of the International Ecology School (IES).
