Biography

KIM Hayeon works as an Education Consultant for the World Bank. She has worked with the World Bank since 2016, and her experience spans regional and country projects across basic and higher education as well as skills development in East Asia Pacific, South Asia, and Sub-Saharan Africa. A key focus of her work has been vocational education and skills development in World Bank projects. She was previously an economic policy researcher at Korea Development Institute (KDI) and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). Hayeon holds a Master’s Degree in International Studies and is a Ph.D. student in Engineering from Seoul National University, with research focused on the economic impacts of ICT and digital transformation.
