AN Soo Hun, CEO of Yonhapnews TV, graduated from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies with a degree in Public Administration and began his journalism career in 1991 as a reporter for Segye Ilbo. In 1994, he joined Yonhapnews Agency, where he served in various roles including Deputy Political Editor, Deputy International News Editor, Social Affairs Editor, and Director of Planning and Coordination. In 2004, he was dispatched as a special correspondent to Baghdad, covering the Iraq War and reporting extensively on the Kim Sun-il abduction case. From 2008 to 2011, as a correspondent in Atlanta, USA, he became the first Korean journalist to report from Guantanamo Bay in Cuba and the Haiti earthquake site. After serving as Executive Director at Yonhap Infomax, he was appointed in October 2024 as the first sole President of Yonhapnews TV.
