Biography
Dr. LEE Bo Youn, Associate Professor, Tourism and Hospitality, holds a Ph.D. in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management from Pennsylvania State University, along with master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Hospitality Management from Florida International University. She currently serves as an Associate Professor at Cheju Halla University and has taught at Sejong University, University of Central Florida, and Busan College of Information Technology. Her industry background includes managerial roles at COEX Korea as a convention organizer, and front-line hotel operations experience at MGM Grand, Excalibur, and Days Inn in the U.S. Dr. LEE has published extensively in top-tier journals, focusing on service technologies, customer loyalty, tourism experiences, and knowledge transfer in hospitality. She has co-authored over ten peer-reviewed articles, contributing significantly to both academia and practice. She is actively involved in various academic and governmental committees, including vice presidency roles with The Korea Academic Society of Tourism and Leisure and editorial positions with key associations. Dr. LEE has also advised local governments and tourism organizations in Jeju on policy, event planning, and tourism development.
