Dr. REN Lianping is currently a Professor at Macao University of Tourism. She received her doctorate from School of Hotel and Tourism Management, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2014. She is an experienced educator in hospitality and tourism, with over 23 years of teaching and program managing experience in Macao, Hong Kong, and Mainland. Prof. REN is an active researcher. Her research interests include tourist behavior, cultural heritage, hotel studies, tourism education, and strategic management. She has published 70 journal articles in international hospitality and tourism journals, edited three books, and presented conference papers in over 25 international conferences. She is currently an Associate Editor of Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Management, and she sits in editorial boards of a number of journals including Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Research, Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Education, and Journal of Quality Assurance in Hospitality and Tourism. Prof. REN provides consultancy service to various government departments and institutes in the Greater Bay Area of China, contributing insights and research results for policy adjustment and practice change.
