Dr. CHOI Mee Young is the Head of Education at UNESCO Regional Office for East Asia. She has been leading and is the owner of various education programmes including Education for Sustainable Development, Climate Change Education, Gender Equality Education, Teachers Policy and Training, Education in Emergencies, etc. over the two decades in Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Pacific. In particular, Dr. CHOI has a considerable experience in elevating Education to the top of Policy Agenda, most recently, to accelerate Transforming Education to achieve the Education 2030 Goals in the region.
