Biography
Alisher ABDULLAEV is a leading expert in digital transformation and higher education reforms in Uzbekistan. He holds a Ph.D. in Technical Sciences and has over ten years of experience in the field of information and communication technologies (ICT). Currently, he serves as the Vice-Rector for Digitalization and Information Technologies at the Tashkent International University. His work focuses on introducing advanced technologies into the education system, particularly as a project coordinator for national platforms like the Education Management Information System (HEMIS). Dr. ABDULLAEV previously led the Digital Education Technologies Center under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation, and spearheaded key ICT initiatives at the Ministry of Higher Education. His contributions span digital governance, e-learning systems, and data-driven decision-making in higher education. He has represented Uzbekistan at numerous international forums organized by UNESCO and UN-APCICT in Asian countries. Beginning his career as a developer and project coordinator, Dr. ABDULLAEV obtained his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Computer Science from TUIT and its Fergana branch. He has led software engineering teams and mentored students during his time there. As a researcher, his scientific interests are centered on applying artificial intelligence, cloud technologies, and big data in education. He continuously advocates for innovations and sustainability in the education sector.
