Dr. CHO Hyejin is an assistant professor and the director of the Department of Artificial Intelligence at the Cheju Halla University. Dr. CHO earned her Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Oklahoma (2024) and studied Ph.D. program at Purdue University from 2016 to 2019. She earned M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University (2016), and a Bachelor’s degree in Information and Computer Engineering at Hongik University (2012). Her research spans a broad spectrum of applications particularly production system, climate change, and healthcare. She actively engages in research encompassing machine learning, data science, optimization, and human-computer interaction for policy making to improve community productivity and resilience.
