LEE Chang Woon works as the President of Infra Economy Research Institute in Korea after serving as visiting Professor of Korea National University (KNUT) and President of Korea Transport Institute (KOTI). He accumulated experiences in various positions such as Vice President, Senior Director of National Transport Strategy Research Department at KOTI. He served as a member of some committees under Korea’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT), including the Metropolitan Transport Committee and the National Transport Committee. He was also dispatched as the Senior Transport Specialist to the World Bank through the KOTI-World Bank Secondment Program. He has about 40 years of experience in the field of transport research and has conducted various transport studies. His research interests include public transport systems in urban areas, metropolitan and nationwide rail transport planning, and transport improvement plans for developing countries. He received the Order of Civil Merit, Magnolia Medal of the Republic of Korea.
