KIM Junam, the former CEO of Lotte Duty Free, was born in Jeju in 1969. After graduating from Sejong University with a major in Hotel Management, he joined Lotte Duty Free in 1995. Throughout his career, he has significantly contributed to the growth and development of Lotte Duty Free by serving in various key positions, including Myeongdong Downtown Store Manager, Jeju Store Manager, Head of Management Support, and Head of Korea Business Division. After being appointed CEO at the end of 2022, he focused on expanding into overseas markets and driving digital innovation as key strategies to grow the global duty-free business. Notably, during the COVID-19 pandemic, he played a crucial role in turning the crisis into an opportunity by strengthening the online duty-free segment. Even after stepping down at the end of 2024, he continues to leverage his extensive experience in the retail industry by serving in various advisory roles.
