Chief Director HWANG Seung-Ho was born in 1964 in Uiseong, Gyeongsangbuk-do. After graduating from Oseong High School, he earned a degree in Taxation from the University of Seoul. Chief Director HWANG is a seasoned expert in customs administration, having served over 30 years in public service at the Korea Customs Service with a strong commitment to serving the nation and its people. He has served in numerous key leadership roles, including Director of General Affairs Division at the Korea Customs Service, Director of the Incheon Hand-Carried Goods Clearance Division 2, Head of the Incheon International Postal Customs, Head of the Seoul Customs Clearance Division, and Head of Ulsan Customs. In 2024, he was appointed Chief Director of the Korea Duty Free Association, where he is contributing to the development of the duty-free industry based on his rich experience in customs administration.
