Dr. Jun obtained his Ph.D degree from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, majoring in International Relations. His main research area is Chinese Politics, International Relations in Northeast Asia, and China-North Korea Relations. He became a visiting researcher at the China Institute of Contemporary International Relations in 2009, and he was a visiting professor at Harbin Normal University in 2011 and at National Chengchi University of Taiwan in 2011. Currently, he is a member of the standing committee of the National Unification Advisory Council (NUAC) and an adjunct professor at the Graduate School of International and Area Studies of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies.
