Sun Xuefeng is a Professor and Dean of the Institute of International Relations at Tsinghua University, and the Editors-in-Chief of the Chinese Journal of International Politics (CJIP). He also serves as Deputy Secretary General of the World Peace Forum. His research focuses on International Relations Theory, International Security, International Order, and East Asian International Relations. He has published over 40 academic papers in both English and Chinese. Key publications include The Dilemma of China’s Rise (1st ed. 2011, 2nd ed. 2013), Legitimization Strategies and the Rise of Great Powers (2014), East Asian Security Order and China's Neighborhood Policy Transformation (2017), Practical Method of International Studies (1st ed. 2001, 2nd ed. 2007, 3rd ed. 2021), and Security Competition and International Order in the Digital Age (2023).
