Nam Ho LEE was born in Jeju in 1960 and completed a bachelor's and master's degree at Yonsei University and obtained a Ph.D. at the Department of Chemistry, Iowa State University in the United States. After working for a while at CJ Research Institute, he has been a professor at Jeju National University's Department of Chemistry and Cosmetics since 1994. He continues to conduct research on the development of cosmetic materials using natural products. In the university, he served as the head of the industry-academic cooperation group and the dean of the College of Natural Sciences. Currently, he is also the director of the Jeju Industry-Academic Convergence Institute. He has been interested in the development of the Jeju cosmetics industry for a long time and is trying to be helpful in this field.
