SEMMOTO Sachio is a Japanese serial entrepreneur, businessman, and educator. After working for Japan Telegraph and Telephone Public Corporation (now NTT), he co-founded DDI (Daini Denden, now KDDI). Afterward, he became a professor at Keio-Juku University, and through E-Access Co., Ltd., established E-Mobile (now Y! Mobile), where he served as the president and chairman of both companies, before serving as the honorary chairman of the company's directors. In March 2014, after retiring from the position as the honorary chairman of the company's director, he was appointed as the outside director of RENova Corporation in April of the same year, and was appointed as the chairman of the board of directors in August 2015. In September 2017, he established the Semmoto Foundation and is the CEO.
