Sungwon LEE is a research fellow and the director of the Center for Security Strategy at the Sejong Institute. He has served as an associate editor of Korea on Point, a global online policy forum focused on foreign policy and security issues. Previously, he was a research associate at the Center for Foreign Policy and National Security at the Asan Institute for Policy Studies. Dr. LEE received his Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Bath in the UK. His research interests include conflict studies, political regimes and regime transitions, threat perception, and Korea-Europe security cooperation.
