Dr. Kuyoun CHUNG is currently a professor at the Department of Political Science and Diplomacy at Kangwon National University. Her research interests include U.S. foreign and security policy, public opinion and strategic narrative studies, alliance politics, Indo-Pacific regional security architecture, and maritime security. She received her Ph.D. in political science from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and has since served as a lecturer at the Department of Political Science at the University of California, Los Angeles, a visiting professor at the Korea National Diplomatic Academy, a research fellow at the Institute for International Strategic Studies at the Korea Institute for National Unification, a policy advisor to the Ministry of Defense, and a member of the Naval Development Board.
