Biography

Cindy Si Yeon RIM is a senior program specialist at the Korean National Commission for UNESCO. She has served as an adjunct professor at the Graduate School of Media and Culture at Sungkyunkwan University since 2019 and served as an attaché at the Permanent Delegation of the Republic of Korea to UNESCO from 2021 to 2023. After receiving her Ph.D. in cultural anthropology in 2016, she has served as a Member of the Board of the Korean Association of Southeast Asian Studies and the Korean International Migration Studies Association, etc. Her research interests lie in the UNESCO culture sector, including cultural diversity, immigration policy, and highly skilled migration in Singapore.
