Biography
Director General KIM Sangug of the National Asian Culture Center of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) has accumulated diverse experiences and professional knowledge over 35 years of public service. He has served in various positions, including Director of the Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam, Secretary General of Korea National University of Arts, Director of Arts Policy and Content Policy at the MCST, Director General of Planning and Training at the National Library of Korea, and Director General of Education and Culture Exchange at the National Museum of Korea. He holds a master's degree in Arts Management from Indiana University, USA, and a Ph.D. in Cultural Content Studies from Dongguk University.
His publications include Cultural Content Industry Policy and Creative Industries, Culture and National Happiness (co-authored), Contactless Era, Content Desiring New Consumers (co-authored), and The Future of the City: Diagnosis and Prescription (co-authored).
