Dr. Yong-Hwan JUNG is an expert in molecular genetics, He started as a researcher at the Biodiversity Research Institute, Jeju Technopark (JTP) in 2004 and served as director until 2023. He strives for research and development of industrialization of subtropical bioresources to respond to Access to Genetic Resources and Benefit Sharing (ABS) laid down in Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD). He also supports local businesses by transferring more than 40 technologies based on his 100 over patents. He has been serving as the division director of the Clean Bio Business Division, JTP since March 2024.
