Mr. Jong-heon Lee joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) of the Republic of Korea in 1988 and served as the Deputy Secretary-General of the Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS) since 2013. He was the Director of Treaties Division at the MOFA from 2003 to 2004, the Deputy Director-General of the Diplomatic Competency Assessment Center at IFANS from 2006 to 2007, the Consul of the Korean Consulate General in New York, USA from 2007 to 2008, the Minister-Counsellor of the Korean Embassy in Angola from 2008 to 2009, the Minister-Counsellor of the Korean Embassy in Germany from 2009 to 2012. He studied the law at Seoul National University and obtained an LL.M. from the George Washington University in the USA.
