Biography
Mee-Eun KANG is a professor of Media & Communication at Sookmyung Women’s University. She received her M.A. in Journalism at Ohio State University, and Ph.D. in Communication at University of Michigan. She also worked as a research fellow at the Institute for Social Research at University of Michigan. She joined the faculty as an assistant professor in the Department of Communication at Cleveland State University.
She served as a committee member of Press Arbitration Commission, Advisory committee for the Ministry of foreign affairs, Board member of Korea Arts & Culture Education Service and currently she is on the board of the Korea Foundation.
She was a regular panel member on TV Shows including YTN <SisaTangTang>, MBN <Morning Window>, <Big 5>, TV Chosun <Golden Punch>, <Golden Time>, and Channel A <Cut the Gordian Knot>. She is the author of many books including <Standing Rule of Communication> and <Skills of Writing>.
