DG Yun-jin KANG is a senior executive in general service. Since the elevation of MPVA on June 5, 2023, she has been charge of planning and coordinating policy, and promoting international cooperation as the DG for Patriots and Veterans Policy. She has devoted to the so-called ‘First-Class Veterans Affairs’ with cooperation with MOLIT, MCST, MOFA and other Ministries to value veterans and their families, and to create a culture of honoring veterans. Before taking charge of a current role, DG KANG has been named several positions including Administrator of Daejeon Regional Office of MPVA, DG for Welfare and Healthcare, DG for Patriots and Veterans Associations Cooperation, DG for International Cooperation, and Chair of the Committee of the 70th anniversary of the Korean War Armistice. In doing so, DG KANG has strengthened veterans healthcare services and infrastructure, focused on activating international cooperation and exchange programs with UN Allied Nations, and contributed to enhancing honor and respect for Korean War veterans.
