Biography

Nammi CHOE earned a Bachelor of Atmospheric Science from Yonsei University, a Master of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering from University of Texas at Austin, and a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from Auburn University. She has contributed to Korea space policy formation through space policy studies on Korea’ space R&D mid and long term plan, strategy for space industrialization, and validities of several space projects since 2007, when she joined Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI). She leads KARI Women’s Association, a voluntary group composed of female employees at the KARI that works to empower women and contribute to the development of gender-related policies within the institute.
