Biography

Mohammad Salah UDDIN is working as Senior Specialist at Institute of Water Modelling (IWM), Bangladesh for nineteen years. In 2011, he obtained his M.Sc. degree in Hydrogeology and Environmental Geoscience from Georg August University in Germany. Prior to obtaining his M.Sc. in Hydrogeology and Environmental Geosciences, he earned a M.Sc. degree in Environmental Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Bangladesh, in 2009, and a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from the Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology, Bangladesh, in 2003.
He has gathered a wide range of experiences in the domain of water resources planning and management, with a particular emphasis on the areas of groundwater management, irrigation and drainage management, wetland management, and the impact of climate change. Salah UDDIN has experience carrying out hydrological, hydrodynamic, and groundwater modeling using the MIKE 11, MIKE SHE, and MODFLOW modeling tools. He has also experience in planning and supervising field surveys, data analysis, quality checking, and processing. Salah UDDIN has three journal papers and seven conference papers to his credit. Aside from his technological endeavors, he possesses excellent client service and communication skills where he has served a diverse group of people.
