Professor YUAN won some important Awards, including An Zijie International Trade Research Award, which is one of the most authoritative awards in China on the aspect of economics.
During 2016.9-2021.9, YUAN, Tao was the Chinese director of the Confucius Institute at Cheju Halla University (S.Korea). YUAN, Tao was in Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA, for 1 year (2013.9-2014.9) as visiting scholar, and in Kokugakuin University in Tokyo, Japan, for 1 year (2008.4-2009.3) as visiting scholar.
