Professor Kyoung Jun LEE, currently serving at Kyung Hee University School of Management, is deeply immersed in research at the intersection of big data and artificial intelligence (AI) within the field of management. Since 2014, he has held the position of Director at Kyung Hee University’s Big Data Research Center. Moreover, since 2020, he has assumed the role of Director of Research Institute at the User-Centric Artificial Intelligence (UCAI) Forum, dedicated to pioneering research in user-centered artificial intelligence that integrates all aspects around the user while safeguarding their information. Additionally, he actively contributes as President of the AI Research Association within the Korea Society of Management Information Systems and leads integrated research in artificial intelligence and management as the principal professor at the AI&BM Research Lab.
His notable achievements include receiving the Innovative Applications of Artificial Intelligence (IAAI) Award from the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI) four times. In 2018, he received recognition from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety for his contributions to the establishment of e-government. Furthermore, in 2024, he was honored with the KOREA AWARDS in science, hosted by the World Federation of Power Leaders.
