Biography
Sangwon CHUNG, after graduating from Seoul National University, joined ESTsoft and became its CEO in 2016.
He launched the group's main services AlYac and ALTools and served as Vice President at subsidiary ZUMinternet. Under his leadership, ESTsoft evolved into an AI-focused company, initiating new ventures in virtual humans and virtual fitting commerce, thus securing new growth avenues.
His contributions to the software and AI industries were recognized with the Industrial Medal from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups in 2019.
Currently, he chairs the Service Innovation Committee of the Korea Software Industry Association, and actively participates as a private member in the Presidential Committee on Digital Platform Government and the Ministry of Science and ICT's AI Strategy High-Level Council, tirelessly working towards the advancement of the AI sector.
