Ms. Ga-yeon Lee is an inventor of an eco-friendly kitchenware and a CEO. Ms. Lee is an active inventor and CEO who sincerely recognizes her role to make a sustainable environment for the future generation. Her invention includes a kitchen device which can refine and filter waste vegetable oil in order to improve its negative influence on the environment, and these devices are widely supplied throughout the market. Ms. Lee has acquired several industrial property rights including utility models, industrial designs, and trademarks since she established WOOSHIN NTI in 2004. She also has been awarded at international invention contests including the Gold Prize at the Korea International Women’s Invention Exposition in 2008, 2009, and 2011, and at the International Exhibition of Inventions in Geneva in 2009. In 2009, she received the President Prize at the Korea Women’s Invention Contest for her work.
