Seung-eun OH is a professor in the Department of Public Administration at Jeju National University in South Korea. Her research focuses on decentralization and government efficiency, and she has served as a member of presidential and government committees. In 2021, Prof. OH was awarded the Presidential Award in recognition of her contributions to the development and performance management of local governments. She is the President of the Korean Association for Governance Studies for the year 2024. Her publications include <Understanding of Jeju Special Self-Governing Province (2008)>, <Understanding of Local Councils (2008)>, <Issues of Local Autonomy (2014)>, <Neighborhood Autonomy System (2016)>, <Introduction of Public Administration (2022)>, <The Public Administration Theory Primer (2023)>.
