Biography
LEE Sang-Woo is a director of the Saemaul Research Center at the Saemaul Foundation. The Saemaul Research Center conducts policy research in Saemaul, international development & cooperation, impact evaluation, and policy implications. He has worked as a director of the project management department and a leader of the strategy planning taskforce team. He also served as a country manager in Vietnam. He holds a Ph.D. in Politics, a Master of Politics, and a Master of Education.
He actively participates in cooperative activities with partner governments of developing countries to promote the Saemaul projects - a successful community development model - and implement these policies nationwide, as well as reinterpret the Saemaul spirit and values to suit the current era. To contribute to resolving regional imbalanced development, he endeavors to propose new projects and conduct policy research, aiming to expand the integration of ICT and cultural content in the Saemaul projects.
