Thomas CHO, Head of Business Development at HEI, an EV battery health data platform, has been in his role since mid-2023 to make ‘a greener today and a safer tomorrow.’
After graduating from KAIST, one of the most prestigious engineering schools in Korea, he started his career in JP Morgan Chase bank as a Graduate Program professional. Since then, he developed his professional skills as corporate sales for FX & Rates derivatives in the financial markets sector of investment banks such as Société Générale Bank and ING Bank.
It wasn’t an easy decision to make, but he gave up the 8 years of lucrative and stable life that the industry offered him to face a new challenge under one commitment: “To create value.” As part of his role, he strives every day to balance the asymmetry of information within the EV battery information market by providing a fast and easy, but precise solution to measure and predict current and future SOH of EV batteries.
