Myunghwan HONG was born on July 6, 1967, in Jocheon-eup, Jeju-si. He has served as a parliamentary aide, the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Assembly, and is currently the director of the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Urban Regeneration Support Center. He has the communication skills to run an organization and reconcile conflicts as
a student president and a provincial legislator, as well as the professionalism built on his experience in architecture and non-profit organizations, and the network of contacts accumulated during his long career. He is now using these skills to fulfill his role as director of the Jeju Urban Regeneration Center.
