Yeong Jae Lee, Vice-President of Korea Southern Power Company hydrogen convergence department, joined Korea Electric Power Corporation in 1995 and has worked as an expert in various fields such as power plant operation, planning, and renewable business development at the head office of Korea Southern Power Company. He was appointed as Vice-President of Hydrogen Convergence Department in November 2022 and has been promoting all cycle projects such as Jeju 12.5MW clean hydrogen production demonstration, Samcheok ammonia Co-firing generation infrastructure construction, and Hallim combined cycle power plant hydrogen Co-firing generation for Korea Southern Power Company to become the first mover in the hydrogen economy in Korea.
