Hawon LEE is a graduate of Korea University (BA) and Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government (MA), and was a research fellow of the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard University. Since 1993, he joined the Chosun Ilbo and served as correspondent for the Washington (USA) and Tokyo (Japan) where he wrote numerous articles focusing on the relations between the US, Japan and Two Koreas. His former positions also include director for Broadcasting Department at TV Chosun’s, principal anchor for the main news and also Bureau Chief for the Chosun Ilbo’s. He is now working as an editorial writer. He is the author of “Entangled Trilateral Relations Among South Korea, North Korea and the United States” (2004), “Xi-Jinping and Obama(2013)” “Samurai and Yankee’s quantum jump(2022) and more.
