Biography

Khampasong, born on August 5, 1990, in Vientiane, Lao PDR, has transferred his job to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE) since 2017 and served as the Deputy Director of Climate Change Adaptation Division, Department of Climate Change, MONRE since March 2023. He is also responsible for the climate change adaptation sector, building the resilience of urban areas by using the ecosystem-based adaptation approach. He also assists the National Focal Point to UNFCCC and to the Adaptation Fund in collaborating with partners and the adjacent ministries. Regarding his educational background, Khampasong graduated with his master’s degree program in Environmental Sciences at the Graduate School of Life and Environmental Sciences, University of Tsukuba, Japan, in 2020.
