H.E. Deyab Farhan Al-Rashidi joined the Diplomatic Corps in 1992, and since then, he has worked at many departments and national committees related to human rights, prohibition of chemical weapons as well as climate change within the Ministry of the Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait. He was Third Secretary at the Kuwaiti Embassy in Belgium and worked as First Secretary at the Kuwaiti Embassy in Cairo. Then he worked as Counsellor at the Kuwaiti Embassy in Turkey and Riyadh. He then served as General Consul of the State of Kuwait to Dubai and North Emirates, and as Dean of the Consular Corps from 2013 to 2022. He has been the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Kuwait to the Republic of Korea since August 2022. Currently, H.E. Al-Rashidi is eager to further continue strengthening and enhancing the cooperative ties between the State of Kuwait and the Republic of Korea.
