H.E. Khaled Abdelrahman holds a BSc. in Political Science from Cairo University. His first diplomatic post abroad was at the Egyptian Embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan and worked as Second Secretary & First Secretary at the Egyptian Embassy in London, the United Kingdom. He was Counselor at the Egyptian Embassy in Kuwait and was Minister Plenipotentiary and Deputy Chief of Mission at the Egyptian Embassy in Prague, Czech Republic. He then worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Cairo as Deputy Assistant Minister for Protocol and became Ambassador of Egypt to Angola and non-resident in Sao Tome & Principe to further extend his diplomatic career. Then he was Deputy Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Protocol, Head of Visits Section at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Cairo and became the Ambassador of Egypt to Korea in April 2022.
