Simon Lee, the founder of Flitto, gained experience in overseas business partnerships and venture capital investments at SK Telecom and SK Planet before establishing Flitto in September 2012. Flitto is a language data business model with the motto of "realizing a world without language barriers." They collaborate with global tech companies to supply the data needed for language AI engines, and their innovative model led to their listing on KOSDAQ in July 2019. As of 2023, Flitto's services are used by more than 10 million users in 170 countries. Simon Lee received the Minister of Science and ICT Commendation Award in 2019 and 2022.
