Biography
Dr. Suh is a specialist in security strategy and defense policy. He graduated from the Department of International Relations at Seoul National University and received a Ph.D. degree in Political Science from the same university. He has worked for KIDA since 1986, and was appointed as a Senior Member of the Presidential Transitional Committee in 2002, Assistant Secretary-General of the National Security Council at the Blue House in 2003, and Senior Secretary to the President for National Security at the Blue House in 2006. He serves concurrently as Adjunct Professor at the University of North Korean Studies, Director of the Korean Political Science Association, Director of the Korean Association of International Studies, and Co-representative of the Unification Movement Headquarters of Young Koreans Academy(NGO).
